Research is very important - this is how new treatments are developed and how we improve your care.
WoSACF is actively involved in research and we often have a number of patients involved in clinical trials.
Clinical trials often have very specific eligibility criteria - this may be based on your particular CF genes, your lung function, the bugs you grow in your spit or other factors.
If you are interested in becoming involved in trials please speak to the team at your next clinic appointment.
